Swarthmore's Ebose Selected Field Athlete of the Week

Ebose shattered the oldest Centennial Conference women's track & field record at Penn Relays this past week by recording a toss of 46-feet, 10.75-inches in the shot put. She placed sixth overall behind five Division I athletes with a mark that ranks fourth nationally in Division III and bettered the previous Centennial record of 45-1 set by Ursinus' Rachelle Pecovsky in 1994. In addition, Ebose registered a toss that sailed 134-10 in the discus throw at the prestigious meet.

Jimcosky broke her own school record in the high jump for the second time in a week by clearing 1.63 meters (5' 4.25"). She holds the top height in the Centennial Conference this season. She added seventh place points in the long jump as well as the Red Devils placed second at the Shippensburg Quad Meet.

McCoubrie won both the long jump and the triple jump to help lead the Bullets to a second-place finish among 10 teams at the Gettysburg Mason-Dixon Invitational. With a mark of 17-1 1/2, she prevailed in a field of 19 to win the long jump.  She also beat out 11 competitors to capture the triple in a personal-record of 37-1 1/4, which ranks her fourth in school history.

Jimcosky won the high jump, breaking the school record in the process. She cleared 1.61 meters (5' 3.25") to eclipse her own previous mark of 1.60 meters. She holds the top height in the conference this season. Jimcosky placed third in the triple jump, just one half inch behind teammate Kristina Link, with a mark of 35' 1.25" (10.70m), giving the Devils 14 points in the event.

Lititz, Pa. / Lancaster Catholic

Swisher reset her previous Franklin & Marshall pole vault record to lead the Diplomats at the Millersville Metrics on Saturday. Swisher bested her old height of 12'-02.50", which she accomplished at the Centennial Conference Championships last spring, with a height of 12'-03.25" to win the event.

Gaykowski broke the school record in the discus by more than 15 feet, throwing 136-6 at the Lafayette 7-Way Invitational. The 10th-best mark in Division III this season improved her personal best by more than 17 feet. Gaykowski finished second overall, behind only a Division I thrower, in a field of 18 that included 11 athletes from Divisions I and II.

Jackson led F&M with two first-place finishes at the Little Three Meet on Saturday. The sophomore won the discus throw at 129'-3.6" to break the previous Little Three record. She was also victorious in the javelin throw with a distance of 121'. She earned a third place finish in the shot put as well with a distance of 35'-7.6"
