The Basics
• Location: La Crosse, WI • NCAA Outdoor National Championships 
• The Short Story: Senior Jenn Su of the women's track & field team wrapped up the heptathlon event at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Championships with an 11th-place finish.

How it Happened
• Su finished 12th in long jump with a leap of 5.18m. She finished just .01m behind 11th-place finisher Alison Rich. Su earned 609 points with her finish. In the javelin Su earned a top-ten finish as she finished tenth with a throw of 31.37m which once again fell just .01m short of a higher finish as the 9th-place finisher, Rae Rae Taylor had a throw of 31.38m. With her top-ten finish, Su earned 503 points. In the final event, the 800 meters, Su finished in 16th with a time of 2:32.34 to earn 664 points. For the event, Su earned 4,357 total points to finish 11th, just 40 points behind Sarah Cool in 10th.
