th-ranked Johns Hopkins women's tennis team dropped a total of just 14 games en route to a 9-0 win over host Dickinson Wednesday afternoon.

How it Happened
• The Blue Jays swept the doubles matches to jump out to a 3-0 lead in the match. Junior
Sophia Strickland and freshman
Evelyn Chang won 8-2 at first over Rachel Flame and Olivia Shea. Senior
Chrissy Simon and freshman
Jessica Liang were 8-3 winners at second over Lexi Epstein and Emily Sprague. Freshmen
Amanda Ruci and
Sophie Saland won by the same score at third over Neve Brennan and Hanna Butler.
• Strickland needed just 12 games to defeat Flame at first singles. Chang then clinched the win for the Blue Jays with a 6-0, 6-1 win at second over Epstein.
• Simon, Ruci and Saland all lost just one game each in their wins at fourth, fifth and sixth singles. Liang dropped only two games as she beat Butler 6-1, 6-1 at third.

• Hopkins improves to 24-10 all-time against Dickinson and has won 21 straight in the series.
• Strickland is now tied for 22
nd in school history with 34 career singles wins and is tied for 20
th with 73 career combined wins (34 singles, 39 doubles).
