Despite an advantage in shots, the Muhlenberg men's soccer team came up empty in its quest for its first Centennial Conference win of the season, falling to regionally ranked Johns Hopkins on a goal with 11:17 left.

The Mules (3-3-2, 0-2-1) amassed a 14-8 edge in shots and had several near misses in the late going. Junior Kevin Hagan hit the left post with a header just minutes before the Blue Jays (7-3, 2-2) scored. Junior Matthew Athanas-Linden forced a diving save by the Hopkins keeper with about three minutes left, and off the ensuing corner kick, a long shot by junior Zach Cimring sailed just high.

Senior Jordan Schreer made three saves for Muhlenberg.
