GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Gettysburg College women's outdoor track and field team made its home debut by hosting the Little Three Meet on Saturday in Musselman Stadium.
On a sunny spring day, Gettysburg placed third with 105 points. Dickinson College won the event for the fifth time in six years with 164 points and Franklin & Marshall College claimed second with 125 points.
The Bullets earned three individual victories while notching one in the relay. Freshman
Nicole Mangaroo (Brooklyn, N.Y./Polytech Prep Country Da) placed in the top-three in four different events, winning the discus (107-8), finishing second in the shot put (33-0 ½, new personal record [PR]), and third in the high jump (4'9) and triple jump (29-5 ¼). Fellow classmate
Katherine Mangione (Doylestown, Pa./Villa Joseph Marie) also cracked the top-three in two different events, claiming the javelin (119-6) and third in the shot put (32-5). Sophomore
Diana Bianco Riley (Seekonk, Mass./St. Mary Academy Bay View) set a new PR for the second-straight week to win the hammer, throwing 105-7.

Georgia Larzelere (Medford, N.J./Shawnee) posted a strong 4x800-meter relay finish to collect the top showing, clocking 10:16.92.

Anna Pienkos (North Haven, Conn./Sacred Heart Academy), and junior
Emily Wielk (West Haven, Conn./Sacred Heart) tallied third-place in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 56.67.

Colleen Campbell (Erie, Pa./Collegiate Academy), junior
Leah Hill (Media, Pa./Penncrest), Wielk, and Bell took third, crossing the finish line in 4:38.21.
On the field, Pienkos registered runner-up in the high jump with a mark of 4-9. Freshman
Caitlin Yap (Wayne, N.J./Morris Catholic) took third in the pole vault, clearing 8-0 ½ and fellow classmate
Jessica Alessi (Nassau, N.Y./Ichabod Crane) finished second in the discus (99-8).
