Meet Highlights

Nathaniel Amoah continued his strong season, posting the fastest 400-meter time by a Blue Jay this season. Amoah finished 11th at the meet with a time of 51.02, besting his previous top time from this season by nearly a full second.
• The Blue Jay men placed four of the top-six and five of the top-10 in the Mile on Friday afternoon.
Declan Hines led the way, running the fastest mile time this season at 4:17.01 to finish second in the event.

Daniel Chen placed fourth, fifth and sixth, all breaking the 4:20 mark.
Jared Pangallozzi grabbed 10th-place in the event.

Justin Canedy had a nice day overall, starting with the 60 Hurdles. The sophomore beat his previous-best season time of 8.73, placing sixth in the event with a time of 8.68. Canedy grabbed fourth-place in the High Jump, posting a 1.93m jump. Canedy also posted his best long jump of the season, winning the event with a 6.95m leap.

Matthew Su was his usually steady self, placing fifth in the 60-meter dash and second in the long jump, just settling in behind Canedy.

Matthew Kleiman continued his strong year, posting the third-best time by a Blue Jay this season in the 3,000-meter. Kleiman finished second with a time of 8:34.33.
• The Blue Jay DMR team set the meet record, posting a time of 10:27.68, just nudging out the previous best time of 10:27.72. Chen,
Elias Boussouf, Laidlaw and Hines made up the Johns Hopkins "A" team.
