The Muhlenberg women's tennis team captured every contested match and defeated McDaniel, 7-2, for its first Centennial Conference win of the season.

The Mules brought only five players to Maryland and had to forfeit No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles, but won the other seven matches handily, dropping a total of only seven games.

Freshman Maria Stere (pictured above) picked up her first No. 1 singles win of the spring with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout and teamed with senior Meghan Olsen for her first career doubles win.

Olsen and fellow senior Shelby Knafo also rolled to 6-0, 6-0 singles victories. Knafo's win was her team-leading fourth of the spring.

Sophomore Jessica Sommer notched her first career singles win at No. 5, and five days after gaining her first career singles win, freshman Carly Lodise made it two in a row.
