WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Swarthmore College Women's Track & Field combined to place first in five different events at the Billy Butler Invitational at West Chester University on Saturday.
Junior
Rachel Vresilovic showed out in the discus with a 37.81-meter (124 feet) heave to win first. Her throw ranks third in Swarthmore history. She also placed fourth in the javelin on Saturday.
Sophomore
Lauren Holt had continued success in the 400m dash. She finished first in 57.94 seconds. She currently ranks fifth in Division III with a career-best time of 57.44 seconds. Junior
Mirayda Martinez took fifth in the 400 on Saturday in 1:03.05.
Senior
Kayla Camacho, junior
Sayaka Vaules and senior
Simran Khanna joined Holt to earn first in the 4x100m relay in 49.93 seconds.
Holt, Camacho and Martinez also took first in the 4x400 with junior
Sydney Covitz in 4:16.78.
Sophomore
Maya Zimmerman won the javelin with a launch of 34.62m (113 feet 7 inches).
Camacho also placed second in the 200m in 26.34 seconds. Vaules was fifth in that event in 27.11.
Covitz finished the 1500m in 4:53.53 to earn third.

Naomi Bronkema tied for third in the shot put with heaves of 11.18m (36 ft 8.25 in).
Freshman
Scout Hayashi placed fifth in the 400m hurdles in 1:15.56.
The Garnet will compete at Widener University in Chester, Pa., for their next meet on Saturday at 10 a.m.
