How It Happened…
  • First Half
    • The Bullets broke out the first five points, but Penn State remained within striking distance early as Brandon Wise knocked down a triple to make it 11-10 with 14:27 left in the first quarter.
    • Gettysburg erupted for a 10-0 run keyed by a pair of Lord three-pointers and two buckets by Leder. After a score by the Nittany Lions, five different Bullets dropped in buckets to push the margin to 32-13 with 8:01 left in the half.
    • Another double-figure run by Gettysburg was punctuated by a deep three from Lord and a thunderous one-handed slam by freshman Elijah Williams (Washington, D.C./Sidwell Friends) to make it 43-15 with 6:02 left in the first half. Gettysburg finished the first half holding a 54-28 advantage after shooting 61.1 percent (22-of-36) from the floor.
  • Second Half
    • Gettysburg cruised in the final half with only Leder playing more than 10 minutes on the court. The lead reached 35 (77-42) after a three-pointer by sophomore Jack Rooney (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) capped a 12-0 surge.
    • Freshman Sukky Nd-Ezuma (Philadelphia, Pa./West Catholic Prep) put the margin at 40 (87-47) with a lay-up following a feed from Zavada with 5:18 left.

By the Numbers
  • Gettysburg shot over 50 percent for the second consecutive game, hitting 37-of-67 (55.2) field goals and knocking in 10-of-22 (45.5 percent) three-pointers.
  • The Bullets hit 10 or more three-pointers for the third consecutive game. That's the longest streak of double-digit three-pointers since a three-game run in January 2016.
  • Lord continued his hot streak by hitting 5-of-6 three-point attempts. Over the last two games, the senior has knocked down 9-of-11 tries from beyond the arc.
  • Leder has scored in double-figures in each of his three games as a Bullet after transferring from Salisbury last year. The junior guard has also dished out at least four assists in each game.
  • Sixteen players reached the scorebook for the Bullets. Five players recorded their first collegiate points.
  • The 98-point outburst was the team's best since dropping 100 on Haverford on Feb. 4, 2017. The 44-point margin of victory was the best since a 45-point (92-47) victory over Haverford on Jan. 9, 2016.
  • Gettysburg is off to its first 3-0 start since 2008-09. The team opened 4-0 that season.
