Day Two
ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - The Dickinson men's golf team shot a combined 605 over a two-day span, including a 311 on day two to finish second at the Battle at the Burg hosted by Gettysburg College at the Hanover Country Club.
Will Giguere was the low Devil on the afternoon carding a three-over 74 to finish tied for seventh after a tournament total of 151. Three different members of the Red and White fired six-over 77s (
Bo Concannon,
Peter Lown, and
Luke Vance).
Brandon Wilson put up 78, while the leader after day one
Collin McMahon-Shea posted a 79 on day to complete the event with a total of 149 tying for fifth. The duo of
Jackson Guy and
Jack Poitras each came into the clubhouse with 79s respectively.
Will Carkhuff carded an 83 with
Carl Williams finishing up with an 87.
The host Gettysburg earned the team title with a two-day total of 597 (298, 299), followed the first Dickinson team on 605 (294, 311), Gettysburg "B" 611 (305, 306), Alvernia University 614 (309, 305), Goucher College 619 (314, 305), Dickinson "B" 629 (320, 309), Hood College 631 (320, 311), and Eastern University 645 (325, 320). The Bullets Daniel Suter claimed the individual title with a two-day mark of 146, edging out his teammate Corey Haydu on the first playoff hole.

Dickinson returns to action this Sunday when they head to Chambersburg for the WIlson College Invite at the Greencastle Golf Club.

Just one shot back of McMahon-Shea sits his teammate
Luke Vance who came in at even par 71 on the 6,485-yard layout.
Brandon Wilson had a solid day carding a four-over 75, while
Will Carkhuff and
Will Giguere fired 76 and 77 respectively.
Peter Lown finished with a 78.

The Red and White lead the team standings with a 294, followed by the host Bullets at 298, Gettysburg "B" (305), Alvernia University (309), Goucher College (314), Hood College and Dickinson "B" (320), and Eastern University (325).
