CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson women's cross country team put forth a solid effort on Thursday night at the Light Up The Night 5k at Dickinson Park as the Red and White claimed second.
The first member of the Red Devils to cross the finish line was
Amiyah Priebe in fourth at 18:57.4 following three straight runners from Washington & Lee University.
Myra Naqvi clocked in with a time of 19:13.7 beating out teammate
Maddie Garber by eight seconds as she hit the line at 19:21.5.
Sammy Jo Barnes earned a seventh-place result with a mark of 19:22.5, with
Abigail Touhey landing in eighth (19:33.4).
Elizabeth Cassell and
Chloe Stidsen finished inside the Top-20 with times of 20:54.5 (15th) and 21:09.8 (18th) respectively.
Isabella Clarke (21:25.5) and
Sarah Coates (21:30.4) occupied slots 22 and 23, while Rainier Bozarth completed the competing Devils by hitting the line in 24.22.1.
Washington & Lee won the team competition with a score of 25, which just edged out the host Devils who finished on 30. Messiah University rounded out the team scoring with 85. Carolyn Todd of W&L won the individual title by stopping the clock in 18:45.6.
