The Muhlenberg volleyball team fell to 0-2 in the Centennial Conference with a 3-0 loss at Haverford.
Senior
Maggie Enestvedt led the attack with seven kills, raising her career total to 987. She is primed to reach the milestone of 1,000 kills when the Mules host a tri-match with Dickinson and DeSales on Saturday.
Muhlenberg's best chance to win a set came in the second. The Mules led 7-2 after freshman
Caleya Tereska served five straight points, but Haverford came back to tie at 11. The teams were tied again at 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21 and 22 in the tight set before the Fords scored the next two points. A kill by Enestvedt saved one set point, but the Fords finished it off, 25-23, on the next point.
Tereska finished with 19 digs, one off her career high. Senior
Gabrielle Neuman recorded 14 assists, and senior
Madison Forrest had four blocks.
