WESTMINSTER, Md. –The Gettysburg College women's soccer team continued its winning streak as they held on for the 1-0 road victory against Centennial Conference foe McDaniel College Wednesday evening to remain unbeaten.

How it Happened
First Half:
- The teams were scoreless until the 35th minute when Klatt dished a pass to Muskus to give the Bullets a 1-0 lead.
- Both teams tried adding to the scoreboard just 35 seconds apart in the 41st minute, but both goalkeepers turned aside each shot.
- Gettysburg and McDaniel both concluded the half with five shots.
Second Half:
- The Bullets took charge at the frame early, but a blocked shot and a save kept them from adding to the lead. McDaniel's defense only allowed Gettysburg one more shot opportunity in the 61st minute.
- McDaniel tried to crawl its way back into the game as they outshot the Bullets 8-3, but were unable to break past the Bullets stingy defense for a tally.

- Gettysburg outshot McDaniel 13-8.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Maddie Cunningham '22 (Mount Airy, Md./Linganore) stopped three shots.
- The Bullets have posted back-to-back shutouts and four overall on the season. The Orange and Blue have only allowed three goals-against, which currently ties them for second in the conference.
- Gettysburg is off to its best start since the 1993 season, as the team has captured seven consecutive wins.
- McDaniel was ranked No. 10 in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division III Mid-Atlantic Region poll, while Gettysburg was listed at No. 9.
All-Time Series
Gettysburg now holds a 26-6-1 lead over McDaniel in the all-time series that started in 1988. The Green Terror captured four straight meetings up until last season when the Bullets snapped the streak, winning 2-1 in overtime at Clark Field. In the series, Gettysburg has outscored McDaniel 78-32.
