• Records: JHU (13-2-4) • Haverford (12-4-2)
• Location: Carlisle, PA • Miller Memorial Stadium
• The Short Story: Emily Maheras scored an 8th-minute goal to send the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays to the Centennial Conference Finals with a 1-0 victory over Haverford.

How it Happened
• It didn't take long for Johns Hopkins to strike first in the Centennial semifinals, as Alex Damron whipped in a corner kick in the eighth minute, finding Emily Maheras for her 13th goal of the season.
Caitlin Hendricks made some crucial saves, earning the clean sheet in the victory for the Blue Jays. Kendra Griesman put two shots on net in the final three minutes of the first half for the Fords, but Hendricks saved both shots.
• Despite a total of 28 shots and 16 shots on goal, the eighth minute goal stood as the difference in the contest. Both goalies were outstanding, as Hendricks made six saves in the shutout effort and Hannah Friedrich made nine saves in the defeat.
• Hendricks final two saves came in the 76th and 77th minutes respectively, stopping shots from Griesman and Alyssa Saito to preserve the shutout and the victory.

 What it Means
• Johns Hopkins returns to the Centennial Conference Championship in search of their 12th tournament title.
• Hopkins will get a rematch with Dickinson, after playing to a 2-2 tie back on October 8th, as the Blue Jays allowed an 89th minute goal.
• A new champion will be crowned in the Centennial. Swarthmore won the last two Centennial Tournaments, both held at Johns Hopkins.
The last two times the Conference Tournament was held at Dickinson College (2005 & 2010), Johns Hopkins defeated the Red Devils in the Championship.
