The Franklin & Marshall softball team (5-16, 1-6 CC) gets set for two CC doubleheaders and one non-conference twinbill this week. The Diplomats travel to Washington College (16-14-1, 8-1-1 CC) on Tuesday, before playing Cabrini (15-10, 4-3 Atlantic East) on Thursday. F&M wraps up the week at Haverford (15-16-1, 3-6-1 CC) at 1:00 p.m.

The Diplomats picked up one win last week as F&M split its doubleheader with McDaniel, downing the Green Terror, 6-2, in game one. Ainsley McClure matched her season-high in strikeouts with 12 in the contest to quiet McDaniel's offense. Read the full recap here.

Franklin & Marshall and Cabrini - out of the Atlantic East Conference - meet for the first time in program history. 

Last Time vs. Haverford

Haverford swept the Diplomats in last year's CC doubleheader. In the 3-2 loss to the Fords, Francesca Testa and Jamie Belfer '22 each tallied two hits. Devon Witt got the Diplomats on the scoreboard in the third inning with a solo home run, but the comeback fell short. Read the full recap here

Washington College Team Preview

The Shorewomen carry a six-game winning streak into Tuesday's doubleheader. Alyssa Vieira and Lexie Witmer are tied for the team lead in batting average, hitting .424. Witmer leads WAC in slugging (.606), home runs (two), and RBI (26). Pitcher Brynn Balliet holds a 2.93 ERA with 34 strikeouts in 98 innings of work. 

Cabrini Team Preview

Cabrini hosts Penn State Brandywine on Tuesday before welcoming the Diplomats on Thursday. Avery Byrnes holds the team-lead in batting average, hitting .400. Byrnes also sports a 3.23 ERA with 80 strikeouts in 69.1 innings in the circle. Ariana Mirenda is slugging .525 with three doubles and two home runs this season. 

Haverford Team Preview

The Fords travel to Muhlenberg on Tuesday before hosting F&M on Saturday. Outfielder Addie Sapirstein ranks fourth in the conference in batting average, hitting .433 with five doubles and 17 RBI. Pitcher Rachel McQueen has an ERA of 5.37 with 27 strikeouts in 71.2 innings in the circle.
