Game Notes
The Franklin & Marshall volleyball team (14-8, 6-2 CC) plays two Centennial Conference matches to end the regular season. F&M travels to Muhlenberg (13-10, 5-4 CC) Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. The Diplomats will then take on McDaniel (2-18, 1-7 CC) Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
Last Week
The Diplomats went 2-1 in their matches last week. F&M fell to Johns Hopkins 3-0 Wednesday evening. Franklin & Marshall responded with a 3-1 win Thursday evening at Lebanon Valley and a 3-0 sweep of Bryn Mawr Saturday afternoon.
In the 3-1 win over LVC, the Diplomats had two players finish with double-digit kills as both Sydney Levins and Coco Shultz tallied 11 kills. On defense, Meredith Mangum had 19 digs, as F&M held LVC to a game-low hitting percentage of -.056 in the third set. Read the recap here.
F&M cruised to a 3-0 sweep over Bryn Mawr Saturday afternoon in the final home regular season match of the season. Annmarie Earley had a memorable Senior Day as she finished with a game-high 12 kills in the win. Earley also sported a .667 hitting percentage in the match. Two Diplomats finished with double-digit assists as Hannah McCarthy tallied 25 and Liah Perez dished out 10. Read the recap here.
Last Time
F&M swept Muhlenberg 3-0 last season. Allison Franke '21 led the team in kills with 11. Annmarie Earley had a game-high 34 assists in the win. Carly Bozzo finished with 16 digs, while Earley tallied 10 digs in the match. Read the recap here.
The Diplomats also swept McDaniel during Senior Day last fall. Franke '21 once again had a game-high 11 kills in the win. Jada West sported a .750 hitting percentage in the win. Read the recap here.
Muhlenberg Team Preview
Muhlenberg enters Wednesday's match after sweeping Bryn Mawr and Washington College. Alyssa Faville leads the CC in digs with 448, averaging 5.46 digs per set. Esmae Oehler leads the Mules in kills with 246 this season.
McDaniel Team Preview
The Green Terror have struggled this season, with their only two wins coming against Notre Dame (Md.) and Bryn Mawr. Nia Roberts leads McDaniel with 121 kills, averaging 1.86 kills per set. Kathy Taveras has a team-high 242 digs, averaging 3.46 digs per set.
