Annabella Boardman shattered a Swarthmore College and Centennial Conference Women's Swimming record as the No. 16 Garnet competed in the D3 Shootout hosted by the University of Chicago this weekend.
In the 100-breast stroke, Boardman swam a 1:03.30 for a NCAA B Cut, Swarthmore and Centennial record. Boardman's time, which currently ranks number three in all of Division III, broke her own 2020 time of 1:04.80 and a 2017 Centennial record time of 1:04.68 from Washington College's Jenni Clune.
Swarthmore added top-ten program times in a very competitive meet that featured eight schools from eight states, including perennial top 10 programs in Chicago, Washington University and Pomona. The 400-medley relay put up an time that now ranks second all-time in Swarthmore history. The relay comprised of

Mackenzie Tucker finished the event in 3:55.09.
In the 200-breast stroke, Rotival recorded a time of 2:24.10, which ranks her second all-time in Garnet history.
Annaliese Chen put home the fifth best time in Swarthmore history with a mark of 2:09.09 in the 200-fly.
Lauren Rohde added another top time for the Garnet as the first year finished with a time of 2:10.49. Chen also added the sixth best 100-fly time in program history by finishing the event in 56.84. The 400-IM saw the pair switch places as Rohde finished with the fourth best time in program history and Chen with the sixth best time. Rohde finished in 4:38.94, while Chen ended the event in 4:41.00.
The Garnet return to action on Friday as they host Bryn Mawr College in the home opener at Ware Pool. The meet is slated to start at 6:00 p.m.
