SWARTHMORE, Pa. - No. 18 Swarthmore College Men's Basketball knocked off Dickinson College, 87-57, in Centennial Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

The Garnet improve to 6-1 and 3-0 in Conference play, while the Red Devils drop to 3-4 and 2-1. Swarthmore extended its win streak against Dickinson to 11 games, with the last five contests being decided by double-digit margins.

Vinny DeAngelo knocked down a three-pointer just ten seconds into the contest to give Swarthmore an early lead. The home team opened the game on an 8-4 run behind five points from DeAngelo and a three-pointer from Conor Harkins. Mid-way through the first half, Aidan Godfrey knocked down a layup to give Swarthmore a 28-18 advantage. The Garnet extended their lead with a three-pointer from Ryan Ingram, a bucket and free-throws from George Corzine and Abass Sallah. After a Colin Shaw layup, the defense forced Dickinson into a shot clock violation. The ensuing possession saw Harkins drain another three for a Swarthmore 21-point lead. Sallah snagged the ball from Drew Hausien and Ingram hit a mid-range jumper as the Garnet took a 46-26 lead into the half-time break.

Out of the half-time break, a Jack Tierney missed three was grabbed by Harkins, who found DeAngelo for the fastbreak layup. With 18:23 left in the game, Haueisen recorded a layup to get Dickinson within 19 points, and that was the closest the Red Devils would get for the rest of the game. Swarthmore went on a 7-0 run behind five points from George Visconti and a pair of points from DeAngelo. With about six minutes remaining, Godfrey knocked down a jumper to extend the Garnet lead to 30 points.
