  • Martin was Gettysburg's top finisher after rolling through his first three opponents 174. He posted a 16-0 technical fall (4:12) in his opening match and picked up a first-period pin (2:13) in bout two. He tacked on another quick pin in the first period (2:38) in the semifinals. Paired with William Laughlin from Scranton in the finals, Martin gave up an early takedown and that proved the difference in a 2-0 decision. The Gettysburg senior is now 10-3 on the year.
  • Sophomore Luke Kowalski (Derwood, Md./Saint John's) earned a top-four finish for the third time in as many events by grabbing fourth at 133 pounds. He cruised past his opening opponent by major decision 11-2, but was upended 9-8 in his next match after Kyle Nase from TCNJ pulled off a late reversal. In the consolation bracket, Kowalski dominated his three matches, posting two first-period falls (1:43, 2:39) and scoring a 13-5 major decision. The Gettysburg sophomore settled for fourth after forfeiting the third-place match to Nase.
  • Juniors Cooper Leszczuk (Cincinnati, Ohio/Indian Hill) and Eric Mougalian (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) combined for seven wins at 149 pounds, culminating in a head-to-head meeting in the consolation bracket. Leszczuk earned a 13-0 major decision in his first match before falling by decision. Mougalian dropped a one-point decision in his opening bout. The two teammates carved a path to a meeting in the consolation quarterfinals with Mougalian winning three matches by fall (1:09), decision (8-3), and decision (13-6) and Leszczuk winning two matches by fall (2:45) and decision (14-7). Leszczuk gained the upper-hand on Mougalian with a takedown and near-fall in the opening period before going on to win 10-4. The Gettysburg junior narrowly missed earning an appearance in the third-place bout after surrendering an escape and takedown in the final minute of a 4-3 loss to Elijah Cyr from Castleton.
  • Juniors Jake Stein (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) and Brendan Loder (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) each posted two wins. Stein won his first two consolation matches by medical forfeit and pin (2:48) at 141 pounds. Loder racked up a pair of major decisions at 197, winning 17-4 and 12-3.
