LANCASTER, Pa. - The McDaniel College men's track & field team totaled eight event winners on Saturday at the Coach I Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall.
Sophomore
Oral-Anthony Coleman led the way with two first-place finishes, posting a time of 7.19 seconds in the 60-meter dash and a mark of 23.23 seconds in the 200-meter dash.
Freshman
Christian Homer came in first in the triple jump with a leap of 12.16m. He also finished second in the jump with a distance of 6.20m, a mark that is 10th in program history and qualifies him for the 2023 Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships. He finished eighth in the 60-meter dash as well.
Reigning Centennial Conference Indoor Field Athlete of the Week, junior
Chett Brunner, placed first in the shot put for the second-straight week with a mark of 14.30m while junior
Tyren Proctor claimed first in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.61 seconds and junior John
Geniti placed first in the pole vault with a mark of 3.95m.
Proctor also finished fourth in the 60-meter dash and fifth in the 200-meter dash.

Alex Huffer and senior
Nick Razze crossed the line first with a time of 1:33.61 which is the seventh-fastest in program history.
The 4x400-meter relay team of Huffer, Razze, freshman
Jack Reiser and sophomore
Jeremiah Maxwell finished first with a time of 3:32.35.
Individually, Razze finished third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.42 seconds, ranking him 10th all-time in program history, while Maxwell finished third in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.36 seconds and fourth in the 200 with a time of 23.93 seconds to qualify for the conference meet in both events.
Reiser finished sixth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:05.23 to qualify for the conference championships.
Sophomore
Anders Madsen finished second in the 800 and
Damontae Gifford was second in the high jump. Junior
Kyle Hubbard posted three top-10 finishes, placing second in the 60-meter hurdles, third in the high jump and 10th in the 60-meter dash.
Senior
Collin Wainwright finished fifth in the weight throw with a mark of 13.19m that is the second-best in program history.
Senior

Braden Fink finished sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively, in the 800 meters as each qualified for the 2023 Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships.
McDaniel returns to Franklin & Marshall next Friday, Jan. 27 for the Mini Dip Invitational. Competition gets underway at 2 p.m.
