SWARTHMORE, Pa.—No. 19 Swarthmore College Men's Tennis fell 5-4 at home on Sunday to the TCNJ Lions.
The Garnet fell behind 2-1 in doubles play. Swarthmore's doubles win came in a tiebreaker in the first flight for Thibault Vernier and Jiung Jung.
Jung was a double winner after winning the top singles match 6-2, 6-1. In fourth singles, John Lathrop battled back after dropping the first set by winning the next two sets 6-1, 6-1.
Noah Criss won in sixth singles, 6-1, 7-6 (5).
The Garnet are back in action on March 2 at home vs. Goucher College.
