HAVERFORD, Pa. - No. 27 Swarthmore College Women's Cross Country competed at the Mainline Invitational on the campus of Haverford College on Friday afternoon.
Nora Blodgett led the Garnet with a 32nd overall finish with a time of 18:25.7.
Rose Teszler, who crossed the finish line in 40th place, completed the three-mile course in 19:27.5 for the Garnet.
The last time the pair took the course at the Mainline Invitational, they each ran their personal best times in the three-mile race. Blodgett completed the 2019 event in 20th place with a time of 18:20.6, while Teszler crossed in 18:47.1 for a 27th place finish.
In addition to battling regional foes Haverford, Muhlenberg, Widener and Elizabethtown, the Garnet also took to the course against Division I programs in Villanova, Penn and La Salle. Swarthmore will be back on the trail on Friday, October 1st at the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa.
