Sea Gulls Top Shoremen, 162-100

Affeldt and Mandrell Win Two Events Each

SALISBURY, Md. – Host Salisbury topped visiting Washington College, 162-100, on Saturday afternoon in a non-conference swim meet at the Maggs Physical Activities Center Swimming Pool.  The two teams swam in a metered pool with Salisbury winning eight of the 14 events.

Shoremen Highlights
- Gage Mandrell won the 200-meter freestyle (1:57.39) and the 200-meter backstroke (2:09.59).
- Zach Affeldt prevailed in the 200-meter individual medley (2:13.98) and 200-meter breaststroke (2:29.04).  He also was second in the 100-meter breaststroke (1:07.27).
- Bianti Danaj captured top spot in 100-meter freestyle (54.59).
- Chase Hensen grabbed the 100-meter breaststroke in 1:06.64.

Notes
- The Sea Gulls are now 4-0 overall, while the Shoremen are now 1-3 overall.
- Washington had its 10-meet winning streak come to an end.  The Shoremen lead the all-time series 29-3.
