The Muhlenberg women's soccer team found its way into the Centennial Conference win column by defeating Bryn Mawr, 3-0.
Three different players scored goals for the Mules beginning with junior
Mia Mulin in the 26th minute. The Connecticut native found the back of the net for the third time this year after being fed by freshman
Noemi Di Cori in the midfield and dribbling down the right side into the box.
Fast forward to the 51st minute, and another Connecticut native found pay dirt when senior
Sarah Hunter (pictured above) finished a cross from left to right by freshman
Emily DeAngelo. Sophomore
Cece Peden scored the Mules' third goal from the right side of the box off a free kick by senior
Hannah Merlo in the 76th minute.
With her goal tonight, Hunter has six points over the last two games. She, along with Mulin and Peden, are tied for third on the team in points this season. Sitting atop the Mules' points list is Di Cori, whose team-leading fourth assists gives her seven points for the year.
Combining for the Mules' ninth consecutive shutout of the Owls were senior
Libby Juliano and junior
Kayla Klarides, each of whom made one save.
Muhlenberg has won the last 25 meetings between the two programs.
