Senior Adam Marcus of the Muhlenberg men's golf team shot a career-best 73 to win medalist honors at the John Makuvek Cup.

The annual tournament, named for the longtime Moravian golf coach, is a competition between Lehigh Valley rivals Muhlenberg, Moravian and DeSales. The Mules finished in the middle, with a team score of 319. Moravian won with a 306, while DeSales finished at 340.

Marcus shot a 37 on the front nine and a 36 on the back, finishing 3 over par just two days after shooting an uncharacteristic 87 on the same course. His previous career best was 75. Marcus finished one stroke ahead of a Moravian golfer to take home the medal for the first time in his career.

Senior Joel Hark shot an 80 and senior Max Pinilis finished with an 81 in the Mules' final tournament of the fall season.
