YORK, Pa. - The Dickinson men's track and field team made the short drive down I-83 on Wednesday afternoon to take part in the York College of Pennsylvania Twilight Meet at Graham Field.
Sprints
William O'Connor was the lone Devil in the Top-20 of the 100m clocking in at 11.98 for 20th.
Charlie Miske hit the line in 12.38 (28th), while
Jack Corkum landed in 35th (12.82).
Ian Gormley and
Tyler Erdmann took up 21st (24.48) and 38th (27.30) during the 200m.
Trevor Richwine claimed a podium spot for the 400m as his mark of 49.58 locked up second. Gormley was the other DC athlete within the Top-20 claiming 13th in 53.45. Erdmann also took part in the event hitting the line at 1:02.16 (28th).
Distance
Richwine and
James Masterson were within the Top-15 for the 800m taking ninth (1:59.96) and 14th (2:01.82) respectively.
Colin Schweitzer (2:06.01),
Max Collins (2:11.64) and
Matthew Gareau (2:18.91) competed as well.
The Red and White placed four athletes in the Top-20 of the 1500m led by
Romario Cruz in tenth at 4:10.67, followed two spots back by
Alexander Kane (4:10.80).
Matthew Dietrick clocked in at 4:13.44 to grab 16th, while Schweitzer nabbed 20th (4:17.25).
William Tripp fell just outside the group in 21st thanks to a 4:18.69.
Teddy Mercer just missed the podium for the 5000m as his time of 15:24.41 was good for fourth, as Dietrick seized sixth (15:37.38) and Cruz landed in seventh (15:37.56).
Nolan Meincke and
Michael Loalbo ran together clocking in at 15:49.31 (14th) and 15:54.17 (15th).
Relays
The 4x400m team of Coll, Gormley, Masterson and Miske clocked in at 3:50.31 for 12th.
Meincke, Mercer, Richwine and Schweitzer took part in the 4x800m and took fourth after posting an 8:34.07.
Field
Hunter Omerzo claimed seventh for the javelin throw with a toss of 45.17m.
Ethan Hart had a solid showing in the discus posting a 45.02 for fourth, while
Matthew Harvey landed in 12th at 37.28m. The same two competed in the shot put with Hart nabbing second with a 16.27m, as Harvey locked down tenth (12.71m). Harvey was then the lone Devil for the hammer nabbing eighth at 42.72m.
Benjamin Power was involved with the high jump clearing 1.70m for 15th. Three Devils were in the long jump as
Jacob Choudhri (5.52m), Power (5.39m) and
Sa'id Rahim (5.18m) all took part. Choudhri was the only DC athlete during the triple jump posting a leap of 12.38m for 12th.
Miske secured tenth during the pole vault after getting over 3.35m.

The Red and White are back at it on Thursday, April 13th at the Messiah University Combined beginning at 3pm. .
