THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg opened the indoor track and field season with six top-three finishes, including two wins, and a program record at the Diplomat Open hosted by Franklin & Marshall.
THE LEADERS
•
Amy Cantrell (Hailey, Idaho/Wood River) led the Bullets with a program-record time of 3:08.34 to finish second in the 1,000.
•
Kathryn Hopkins (Taneytown, Md./Winters Mill) posted a a victory in the 5,000, turning in a Centennial Conference (CC)-qualifying time of 18:54.08 in her first indoor competition in a Gettysburg uniform.
• Also making her Bullets indoor debut,
Ava Crawford (Swarthmore, Pa./Strath Haven) won the mile in a conference-qualifying time of 5:34.67.

Caroline Gensinger (Cream Ridge, N.J./Allentown [Pa.]) made her debut with a second-place finish in the shot put. Her toss of 10.63 meters hit the conference standard and ranks 10thin program history. She was also 19th in the weight throw with a conference-qualifying throw of 10.77 meters.

Eliza Hoover (Mahwah, N.J./Academy of the Holy Angels) debuted in the 1,000 with a time of 3:13.24 to place third. Her time ranks third in program history.
•
Franny Proto (Old Tappan, N.J./Northern Valley Regional at Old Tappan) posted a personal-best time of 6:09.72 to place third in the mile.
•
Amanda Addesso (Cheshire, Conn./Cheshire) was fourth in the 5,000 with a CC-qualifying time of 19:39.57.

THE REST OF THE STORY
•
Lily Morrell (Frederick, Md./Urbana) turned in a pair of top-eight finishes, hitting the CC standard in the 60 and 200. She placed fifth in the 200 with a time of 27.78 seconds. She was also eighth in the 60 hurdles with a time of 10.14 seconds, which ranks eighth in program history.
•
Cassidy Callahan (Fitchburg, Mass./Oakmont Regional) cleared 2.89 meters in the pole vault to finish fifth. The conference-qualifying vault is seventh in program history.
•
Lillian Boudreau (Adams, Mass./Hoosac Valley) hit a trio of conference qualifiers in her first collegiate action. She was sixth in the 200 with a time of 27.84 seconds. She was also seventh in the long jump with a mark of 4.71 meters. She also placed 17th in the 60 hurdles with a time of 11.18 seconds.

Alexa Schauder (Cedar Knolls, N.J./Whippany Park) placed eighth in the pole vault with a mark of 2.89 meters and was ninth in the high jump, clearing 1.40 meters. Both marks qualified for the conference championship.

Lauren DiOttavio (Romansville, Pa./Downingtown West) finished 10th in the 60 with a conference-qualifying time of 8.36 seconds.
•
Olivia Taylor (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) was 10th in the pole vault, clearing 2.74 meters to hit the CC standard.
•
Riley Yorke (Hamilton, N.J./Steinert) debuted with a 13th-place finish in the pole vault, clearing 2.29 meters to hit the conference qualifying standard.
•
Julia Piness (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) placed 14th in the 60 hurdles to hit the CC-qualifying mark with a time of 10.92 seconds.
•
Audrey Moroz (Hatfield, Pa./Pope John Paul II) also hit the CC mark in the 60 hurdles with a time f 11.16 seconds to place 16th. She also turned in a personal-best time of 32.12 seconds to place in 32nd in the 200.
•
Emily Trout (Ocean View, Del./Sussex Academy) placed fifth in the 1,000 with a time of 3:28.09.
•
Carys Cook (Fairfield, Conn./Lauralton Hall) made her indoor debut with a fifth-place finish in the 3,000 with a time of 12:00.61.
•
Megan McArthur (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) placed sixth in the mile with a time of 6:22.93.
•
Claira Royce (Russell, N.Y./Hugh C. Williams) finished seventh in the 3,000 (12:27.34).

THE INSIDE STORY

Kyla Lorden (Simsbury, Conn./Simsbury) was ninth in the mile in her debut, posting a time of 6:30.82.
•
Julia Wert (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) finished 10th in the 400 with a personal-best time of 1:09.09.
•
Rachel Fischler (Avon, Conn./Avon) crossed 12th in the 5,000 meters with a personal-best time of 20:53.00.
•
Reese Koch (Worcester, Pa./Methacton) finished 14th in the 800 (2:49.46).
•
Anna Lopez (Timonium, Md./Dulaney) was 18th in the 400 (1:16.07).
•
Georgia Mercer (Elkton, Md./Rising Sun) made her collegiate debut with an 18th-place finish in the shot put (8.45 meters), 20th-place showing in the long jump (3.92) and 31st-place finish in the 200 (32.01).
•
Riley Gerbereux (Towson, Md./Maryvale Prep) made her indoor debut in the 5,000, placing 20th (22:35.59).
