Game Notes
The Franklin & Marshall women's basketball team (3-6, 1-4 CC) returns to action in the new year with three games this week. F&M travels to Salisbury (5-10) for a non-conference matchup at 1:00 p.m. The Diplomats play Centennial Conference foes Muhlenberg (4-5, 3-1 CC) on Wednesday and Swarthmore (4-4, 2-2 CC) on Saturday. Both of those games tipoff at 1:00 p.m.
Last Game
A 13-3 run in the third quarter helped the Diplomats push past Cabrini, 50-41, in early December. Jaclyn Feit tallied 27 points in the win to set a new career-high, while shooting 50 percent (8-of-16) from the field and knocking down 11 free throws in the contest. F&M leads the all-time series over Salisbury, 2-0. The Diplomats won 60-59 in their first meeting in 1987. The two programs last met in 1997, where F&M won 64-51.
The Diplomats split each of their matchups against Muhlenberg and Swarthmore last season. In the 55-49 victory against the Mules, F&M used a 24-point second quarter to elevate over Muhlenberg.
