PRINCETON, N.J. - Swarthmore College Women's Track & Field had a trio of athletes compete at the Princeton Invitational on Sunday.
Adria Retter competed in the shot put event, while
Alyssa Zhang and
Emma Chiao competed in the long jump and triple jump events.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Retter led the way as the junior earned a second place finish in the shot put. In the second attempt of the day, Retter tossed a throw of 13.92m. The throw ranks the junior eighth nationally and first in the Centennial Conference.
- Chiao added a third place finish in the triple jump with a best mark of 10.55m. In the long jump event, the senior recorded a mark of 4.46m.
- Zhang earned a pair of fourth place finishes. Zhang finished the triple jump with a mark of 10.48m, while the sophomore finished with a mark of 4.92m in the long jump.
UP NEXT
The Garnet return to competition on Saturday in Day One of the Centennial Conference Championships. The two-day event will take place at Ursinus College.
