MEDIA, Pa. - No. 20 Swarthmore College Women's Cross Country kicked off the 2021 campaign with a victory at the Bryn Mawr Invitational on Thursday at Rose Tree Park. 

Senior Nora Blodgett crossed the finish line in second place with a time of 20:31.2. Emma Novak crossed in fourth,  while Rose Teszler and Alina Irvine finished the 5-kilometer course in fifth and sixth. Novak record a time of 22:03.1 as Teszler and Irvine clocked times of 22:03.4 and 22:04.0 respectively. 

The Garnet led the way with 28 points, as Bryn Mawr (37) and Haverford (72) closed out the top three. Swarthmore will hit the course next at the Mainline Invitational on September 17th at Haverford College, followed by the Alumnae Meet on Saturday, the 18th.
