MORRIS COUNTY, NJ - The Swarthmore College golf team finished fourth place out of 11 teams after the final round of the Garden State Collegiate on Sunday.
Michael Brown earned a top-10 finish as he shot six-over-par for the tournament.
Gyan Bains finished just outside the top-10 with a 13th place finish.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After shooting an even 72 to open the tournament, Brown finished off play with a 78 (+6) on the final round of play. The senior tied for seventh overall as he sunk two birdies on the afternoon. Brown's opening round score was his lowest round of the season to go along with a two-round score of 150, which was also a new season-best.
- Bains earned 13th place with a two-round score of 154. After opening play with a 73 (+1), the junior closed out the tournament with an 81 (+9) as he competed as an individual entry.

Ben Lee tied for 16
th overall with a two-round score of 157. Lee shot a 77 (+5) to take three strokes off his opening round score, while Lei carded a 79 (+1).

Alex Cheriel rounded out the Garnet scorers with a 159 for the tournament. The sophomore carded an 80 (+8) for the final round and opening with a 79 (+7).
Jackson Murphy also competed for the Garnet with a second round score of 85 (+13).
