Jake Stein (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) earned a decision at 133 for Gettysburg College during a 37-9 setback to McDaniel College in Centennial Conference wrestling action inside Bream Gym Thursday night.

Match Highlights
- Stein put the Bullets on the board in the team scoring with a 7-1 decision over Steven Pabon at 133. The Gettysburg first-year opened with a pair of takedowns to take a 4-1 lead in the first period. After a scoreless second frame, Stein posted his third takedown and clinched the riding time point in the third period.
- McDaniel ran off three consecutive wins before Gettysburg's next victory. Angelo gave up a takedown to Garrett Vandervalk in the first period, but the junior reversed positions and tacked on four near-fall points. In the second period, Angelo posted two takedowns before forcing Vandervalk to the mat with 48 seconds left in the frame.
By the Numbers
- Gettysburg dropped to 8-13 overall and 0-6 in conference duals. McDaniel improved to 10-8 and 2-2.
- Stein moved to 8-16 on the year. He has won four of his last seven matches.
- Angelo improved to 3-7 with his second pin of the year.
- Gettysburg recognized its four seniors – Colin Devlin (Dresher, Pa./Upper Dublin), Steve MacDonald (Geneva, Ill./Geneva), Austin Roskos (Lawrenceville, N.J./Hopewell Valley Central), and Traken Sutton (Wethersfield, Conn./Loomis Chaffee – prior to Thursday's match.

McDaniel picked up its first win over Gettysburg in five seasons. The Bullets lead the all-time series 33-26.
