How It Happened…

Cunningham stopped the Fords first shot at the 18th minute and collected her second save with under two minutes in the half. Haverford looked to go up at intermission as they shot at the 32nd and 43rd minute, but Gettysburg's stingy defense blocked the first and Cunningham saved the second.
- Second Half: The Bullets placed two shots on goal in the half, but Friedrich made saves on senior Brigitte Mullineaux (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) in the 60th minute and Muskus in the 71st minute. Gettysburg would outshoot Haverford 5-2, but the visitors tallied the lone goal at the 73rd minute. Saito made a move on a defender and shot into the upper left 90 of the cage for the game-winner. Junior Julia Myers (Strasburg, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) looked for the equalizer in the 78th minute, but her shot went wide.
