CARLISLE, Pa.—Each member of the No. 25 Swarthmore College Women's Tennis lineup was a double winner on Saturday as Swarthmore rolled to a 9-0 win over Dickinson College on the road.
Swarthmore improved to 7-4 overall and 3-1 in conference action.
The Garnet only dropped two sets in doubles play, winning 8-1 in first doubles, 8-0 in second doubles and 8-1 in third doubles.
In singles play, Emma Kassan led off with a 6-1, 6-0 win in the top draw. Freshman Sonia Varma won at second singles 6-0, 6-2, and classmates Sophie Brown and Christina Wang won 6-3, 6-2 and 6-3, 6-3 in third and fourth singles, respectively. In fifth singles, Vivien Fernandez-Ravelo cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 win. Grace Dignazio collected a 6-1, 6-1 win in sixth singles to complete the sweep of the Red Devils.
Swarthmore plays at Washington College on Tuesday.
