LEBANON, Pa. - Behind a strong run from senior Rachel Conhoff, the Ursinus Women's Cross Country team continued their impressive start to the 2022 season at the LVC Dutchmen Invitational on Saturday afternoon. 


As a team, the Bears finished second overall with 95 points only to division I Navy in the race. Ursinus was the top finishing Division III school among the 25 teams entered.



Conhoff completed the 5k course in 18.47.30 to earn her second place finish on the afternoon. Senior Holly Chambers had a strong race with an 11th with a time of 19:35.90.


Senior Jenna Lozzi placed 26th overall with a time of 20:21.90 and was followed by first-year Mia Sideris in 34th overall with her time of 20:31.20.


Sophomores Samantha Grubb  and Ryann Wauthier placed 37th and 38th while tallying times of 20:40.10 and 20:42.0, respectively.


Sophomore Meghan Carroll placed 68th overall with her time of 21:26.20 and first-year Kirra Norling followed with her time of 21:52.50 to place 77th overall. 


Sophomore Maggie Stalter (22:23.40), first-year Corinne Martello (22:53.70), sophomore Erica Locke (23:15.10), anf first-years Brooke Richards (23:22.50) plus McKemzie Snyder (26:40.60) rounded out the Bears runners in Lebanon.


After a week off, the Bears will return to action on Saturday, September 24th at the Harriet Horner Invitational hosted by Shenandoah University at 10:00 a.m.
