• The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins men's track & field team earned a second-place finish at the Widener Invitational as the Blue Jays earned 95 total points during the event. Rowan won the event with 108 points.

Meet Highlights:
• Ted Oh clocked in with a time of 3:59.37 to notch a third-place finish in the 1,500-meter run while teammate
Alex Condotti finished fifth with a time of 4:00.95. Oh set a new PR in the event with his time.
• In the 10,000-meter run
Isaac Mears claimed a second-place finish with a time of 34:14.81 while
Nathaniel Amoah added a second-place finish in the 400 with a time of 49.26.
• The JHU 4x100 relay team of
Matthew Su, Justin Canedy, Amoah and
Alex Mollick captured a third-place finish in the event as they completed the race in 42.09. Mollick finished in sixth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.05 and fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.21.
• Hopkins claimed spots one and three in the long jump as
Ethan Bartlett won the event with a leap of 6.86m while Canedy finished in third with a mark of 6.81m. Canedy also finished ninth in the 400 with a time of 49.94 and Bartlett finished ninth in the high jump with a mark of 1.85m. Bartlett also earned a third-place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 14.08m.
• In the pole vault senior
Benjamin Huang recorded a fifth-place finish with a mark of 4.45m and
Zach Ellis notched a fourth-place finish in the javelin with a throw 52.03m.
• In the 800-meter dash
Alex Ozbolt finished in fourth as he crossed the line in 1:54.69 while
Vipul Bhat recorded a third-place finish in the 5k with a time 14:58.67.
