How It Happened…
- First Half: On the Bullets first shot attempt of the match, Mazzone crossed from the left to right to an open Carroll, who hit the back of the net for his fourth tally of the season. About five minutes later, the hosts responded with the equalizer as Cimring passed from the right side of the box to Akdag, who spun to his left to score into the lower right 90. Gettysburg produced the go-ahead goal less than two minutes later as Mazzone stole the ball from a Mules defender, dished it off to Carroll on the right side, who quickly sent it to Thomas as he slid to score. The Orange and Blue finished the half with three shots.
- Second Half: The final half resulted in a highly competitive environment, but the Orange and Blue prevailed. In the 88th minute, the Mules looked to notch the equalizer as the team pounded three shots within nine seconds, but the Bullets' strong defense blocked two with Keane turning aside one.
