Sea Gulls Best Shorewomen, 139-121

Hartmann and Smith Win Two Events Each

SALISBURY, Md. – Host Salisbury downed visiting Washington College, 139-121, on Saturday afternoon in a non-conference swim meet at the Maggs Physical Activities Center Swimming Pool.  The two teams swam in a metered pool with both squads winning seven events.

Shorewomen Highlights
- Lilly Hartmann won 200-meter backstroke (2:30.76) and the 200-meter individual medley (2:32.89).  She also captured second in the 100-meter backstroke (1:10.95).
- Kylee Smith took first in the second in the 100-meter butterfly (1:07.35) and the 200-meter butterfly (2:33.02).
- Emily Iampieri won the 100-meter freestyle (1:01.30) and had a second place finishes in the 50-meter freestyle (28.48) and the 200-meter freestyle (2:13.40).
- Lauren Paules captured to spot in the 400-meter freestyle (4:49.14).
- The 200-meter freestyle relay team of Iampieri, Anna Miller, Smith and Ayana Davis won the relay with a time of 1:52.82.

Notes
- The Sea Gulls are now 4-0 overall, while Shorewomen are 1-4 overall.
- Today ended the Shorewomen's 34-meet win streak against the Sea Gulls.  Salisbury's last win was on December 13, 1985, 75-55, in Washington's first ever meet as a varsity program.  WC leads the all-time series 34-2.
