How It Happened…
  • First Half: The visitors got on the scoreboard first as the team's leading scorer Gilbert notched the goal off a Bullets defensive miscue at the 7:23 marker. The Bullets registered the equalizer nineteen minutes later as O'Donnell dished the ball up the middle to Thomas as he blazed past the defenders to score. Lerman looked to put the Bullets ahead with under three minutes in the half as he kicked a great shot to the cage, but Meagher made the stop. Gettysburg edged Dickinson 7-5 in shots.
  • Second Half: The final half saw four goals scored, one by Dickinson and three by Gettysburg. The Red Devils, who were down a player due to a red card in the first half, went ahead 10 minutes in as Cisse made a quick pass to Thompson-Hill as he drove to the left side of the field and shot into the right side of the net. The Bullets tied the match 20 minutes later as Mazzone passed from the left side of the field to Lerman as he drilled the shot into the right of the net for his third goal of the season. Five minutes later, the Orange and Blue struck again as Ozoh crossed from the left side to O'Donnell who headed the ball right to Thomas' feet to pull ahead by one. Omosanya tacked on the final goal with under five minutes to go as he blasted the penalty kick for his fourth tally of the season, which is a new career-high for the defender.
