CHESTER, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's track and field team wrapped up a successful weekend with several standout performances on the final day of the Danny Curran Invitational.
Krystle Boadi highlighted day two with strong performances in the 100m and 200m dashes. Rose Teszler and Morgan Mouer also shined in distance events, while Emily Trelstad put together a top-three finish in the high jump.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Boadi took second overall in the 200m dash with a time of 26.12. She also won the third heat of the 100m dash and finished eighth overall in the event with a time of 12.93. Both times marked outdoor personal bests for the junior.
- Teszler placed fifth overall in the 1500m run. The junior made a late pass on a Misericordia runner to move up a position in the last 200 meters. Teszler achieved an outdoor personal-best mark with a time of 4:55.04.
- Trelstad put together a third place effort in the high jump with a top height of 1.55m. The freshman cleared the bar on the second attempt.
- Mouer was third overall in the 800m run, which featured 66 competitors. The freshman beat her top indoor time with a 2:22.65 effort in her first collegiate outdoor 800m race. Gabby Johnson also finished 14th overall with a time of 2:29.19. Johnson excecuted a very late pass on the final turn of the event as the freshman was victorious in the fifth heat.
- Quinn Basewitz was eighth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:11.88.
- Alina Irvine earned a top-20 finish out of 54 competitors in the 1500m run. The freshman placed 18th overall while setting a new outdoor personal best of 5:04.11.

Emma Chiao led a Garnet trio with a tenth place effort in the long jump. The senior recorded a top mark of 4.67m in the event.
Kiara Abbey and
Leila Kirton also competed in the event with marks of 4.64m and 4.51m, respectively.
- Shay Downey finished tenth in the hammer throw with a top mark of 33.07m. Jordyn Bernard also competed with a top throw of 25.43m to place 16th overall.
