SWARTHMORE, Pa.—Swarthmore College Volleyball honored its seniors, four student-athletes and a student assistant coach, prior to Saturday's match and then went on to wallop the Gettysburg College Bullets in three sets, 25-17, 25-18, 25-14. Swarthmore celebrated seniors

Swarthmore hit .306 for the match and limited the Bullets to a .123 percentage.
Fittingly, seniors den Braven and Morgan-Bennett led Swarthmore with 10 kills each and both hit above .300 for the match with den Braven swinging for .318 and Morgan-Bennett swinging at .333. Alexa Barlett and
Alyssa Nathan each added seven kills, and Nathan hit a match-best .583. She recorded her seven kills on 12 attempts with no errors.

Sarah Carrasco scooped up 21 digs while outside hitters den Braven and Barlett added 12 and 10, respectively.

Sierra Tyson's distribution led to 28 assists. She also added three kills and two aces. Senior middle
Isabelle Andrews participated in four of Swarthmore's five blocks.
The Garnet trailed 15-13 in the first set, but with Nathan serving, rattled off eight straight points to pull away. The Garnet closed out the set on a four-point uptick.
The visiting Bullets hung around in the second set, keeping a one-point game late. However, Swarthmore closed out the set with a streak of six points punctuated by a Tyson ace.
Swarthmore steamrolled Gettysburg in the third set and led by as many as 11 points at 20-9.
The Garnet (14-10 overall, 5-3 Centennial) bettered their playoff prospects with the win, moving them into a tie with Haverford for fourth place. Gettysburg (13-11, 4-4) dropped to a tie for sixth place. Swarthmore has two more regular season chances to lock up one of the five playoff seeds. The Garnet host Muhlenberg at 7 p.m. Wednesday and then close out the season on the road at Haverford next Saturday at noon.
