The Muhlenberg women's basketball team battled back from a seven-point deficit entering the fourth quarter to tie the game midway through the frame but ultimately fell at Washington College, 50-46.

Seven points from freshman Kassidy Stout along with a pair of free throws from senior Emilie Benton over the first 3:41 of the fourth quarter tied the game at 38, eliminating the seven-point lead the Shorewomen (3-0, 1-0) held after the first three quarters. The hosts built its lead back up to as many as four before the Mules (1-1, 0-1) pulled to within one at 47-46 with 29 seconds to go. A 3-4 effort from the line for Washington held off the comeback attempt.
