Veronica Montane posted a second-place finish in the triple jump with a leap of 10.70m while freshman
Cherease Lamm finished fourth with a mark of 10.45m.
• JHU controlled the 5k as
Samantha Levy won the race and the Blue Jays took home seven to the top-10 spots.
Ellie Clawson,
Emily Stahl, Julianna Lazzari and
Shaina Palmer finished 3-6 while
Julia Chang and
Leigha Martin finished ninth and 10th.
• Hopkins claimed the top-three spots in the 3k with
Therese Olshanski finishing first with a time of 10:05.14 while
Tasha Freed finished second with a time of 10:13.18 and
Ariel Keklak finished third with a mark of 10:32.95.

Annie Gutierrez notched a second-place finish in the pole vault, clearing 3.20m while freshman
Chinaza Nwankpa earned a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.29.
• The Blue Jay 4x400 relay team finished third with a time of 4:11.04.
Johns Hopkins Winners:

Samantha Levy claimed the top spot in the 5k with a time of 17:29.91.
• In the 60-meter hurdles,
Maya Hammonds claimed the top spot with a time of 9.22 in the event. She also won the long jump with a leap of 5.49m which is just short of her school record 5.51m.

Therese Olshanski won the 3k with a time of 10:05.14 while
Sophia Cortazzo won the pole vault event with a mark of 3.35m.
• Freshman
Ashley Tyburski opened her collegiate career with a win in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:00.66 while
Erin Brush claimed first overall in the mile with a time of 5:16.53.

• The next meet for Johns Hopkins will be on Saturday, January 12 as JHU will compete in the Great Dane Invitational.
