HERSHEY, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Golf carded a stroke total of 627 (+59) in two rounds on Sunday and Monday at the Hershey Cup at Hershey Country Club. The Garnet finished 10th out of 15 teams.
No. 4 Wittenberg finished on top of the team standings by shooting sub-300 ball on both days, carding a 592.
Swarthmore shot a 315 on day one with two players below 80 and the other three shooting 80 exactly. The Garnet cut out three strokes on day two for a 312 (+28).
Senior
Vamsi Damerla led Swarthmore with a 155 (+13) on the par-71, 6,605-yard course and tied for 20th on the leaderboard. Damerla posted an 80 in round one but bounced back with a team-best 75 on day two after sinking three birdies.
Sophomore
Michael Brown led Swarthmore with a 77 in round one and shot a 79 in the second round to tie for 27th.
Dan Altieri tied for 33rd overall with a 157 (+15), shooting an 80 on Sunday and then following it up with a 77 on Monday.
Ankur Malik recorded a 161 (+19), and
Nick DiMaio posted a 162 (+20).

Swarthmore also had a second team in action on Monday at DuPont Country Club.
Swarthmore finished in sixth at the Widener Spring Invite with a 336 (+52) on the par-71, 6,763-yard course.
Adam Agustin tied for fourth overall with a 78 (+7).
Max Katz-Balmes and
Chris Zhang shot 85s.
Kevin Zheng posted an 88, and
Arjun Madan finished with an 89.
