Race Highlights
• Hopkins didn't get off to a start off the line which set them back a bit and forced them to really have to work in the earlier parts of the race to get into good positions. Junior Abbey Wheeler of No. 11 Providence won the race with a time of 17:10 while Bethany Hasz of No. 24 Minnesota finished second with a time of 17:17. Senior Ellie Clawson was the top finisher for the Blue Jays as she finished 46th overall with a time of 18:06, ahead of runners from No. 27 Dartmouth and No. 34 Utah. Clawson put together a great second half of the race to finish in the top-50 in the field of 216. Samantha Levy was the next best finisher for JHU, finishing in 65th with a time of 18:16. Levy was one of the Blue Jay runners who was able to get out well from the start as she set herself up for a great race.
