COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Indoor Track & Field team showed well once again as they hosted the annual Frank Colden Invitational, their final home meet of the indoor season, at the Floy Lewis Bakes Center on Saturday.
The Bears finished third in the team standings with 57.50 points while Swarthmore led the 24-team field behind scoring 76 points.
For the second-straight meet, the Bears indoor throwing school records were bested. Senior
Isabelle Deal topped her week old school record in the shot put with her throw of 42-5.75 ft. that was good for second place on the afternoon. Junior
Jacqueline Allen topped Deal's one week old school record in the weight throw on her mark of 45-11 ft. and finished third overall. Deal finished just behind Allen in fourth in the weight throw with a career best throw of 45-6 ft. while Allen finished fifth in the shot put with her mark of 38-2.25 ft. Senior
Hannah Bierling posted a seventh place finish in the shot put after recording a mark of 35-6 ft.

Rachel Conhoff led a 1-2 Bears finish in the 800 meters behind crossing the line with her time of 2:19.50 which is currently the second fastest time in the Centennial Conference this indoor season. Classmate
Holly Chambers finished second behind Conhoff on her season best time of 2:23.85. A pair of Ursinus runners earned Top-10 finishes in the mile, led by junior
Brooke Adams with her time of 5:24.88. First-year
Mia Sideris placed eighth in the race behind her time of 5:31.93. Sophomore
Ryann Wauthier blitzed her previous career best time in the 3,000 meters by 11 seconds after crossing the line at 11:12.44 to finish sixth overall.

Eden Merritt highlighted the jumps for the Bears with her fifth place finish in the high jump after matching her career best jump of 4-9.75 ft. Her classmate,
Juniper Bauroth-Sherman was the lone Bear to compete in the Pentathlon and placed fifth after compiling 2,255 points.
Ursinus returns to action on Friday, February 10th as they will begin their two-day competition at Boston University's David Hemery Valentine Invitational at 11:00 a.m.
