Meet Highlights
- Crilly accounted for half of Gettysburg's wins Saturday. The senior anchored the 400 medley relay and surged past Mary Washington's Sydney Hall over the final 100 yards with a split time of 52.74. She then added back-to-back wins in the 50 free and 100 free, winning both races by less than a second over Hall. In the final race of the meet, Crilly swam the second leg of the 200 free relay along with freshman Grace Bobeck (Allentown, Pa./Salisbury) and sophomores Katie Cooper (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) and Cate Kosko (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury East). The squad edged Mary Washington by 0.49 seconds. Crilly has won a total of 28 individual and relay races this season.
- Moss swept the breaststroke events for the second consecutive outing, out-touching Cooper in both events. The freshman won the 100 by just 0.12 seconds and escaped Cooper by less than a second in the 200.
- Manning won the 1,000 free for the third time this season. The Gettysburg first-year battled with Claudia Keller throughout the race, eventually pulling away over the last 300 yards for a six-second win. The two met again in the 200 back and this time it was Keller overcoming an early deficit to win.
- Gorman recorded her first collegiate win in the 200 fly. Fellow first-year Elissa Clancy (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield) led after the first 50 yards, but Gorman seized the advantage at the halfway point and maintained the upper-hand on the way to a 1.44 second win.
- Sophomore Megan Wojnar (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) turned in a pair of runner-up finishes. She finished second to Julia Geskey with a time of 1:59.96 and trailed Grace Nicolai in the 400 IM at 4:44.64.
