The No. 3 seed Franklin & Marshall volleyball team (18-8, 8-2 CC) matches up with No. 1 seed Johns Hopkins (20-7, 10-0 CC) in the Centennial Conference Championship Sunday at 1:00 p.m. The Diplomats set up a rematch of the 2019 CC Championship, where Johns Hopkins came out victorious, 3-0.

First Round Recap

The No. 3 seed Diplomats swept No. 6 seed Muhlenberg 3-0 Wednesday evening. Gianna Mangiamele posted a match-high 10 kills with a hitting percentage of .571. Two Diplomats finished with double-digit assists with Hannah McCarthy tallying 16 and Liah Perez dishing out 13. Meredith Mangum totaled 10 digs to help F&M hold Muhlenberg to hitting percentages of -.207, -.097, and .194 in each set. Read the recap here.

Semifinals Recap

No. 3 seed F&M knocked off No. 2 Swarthmore 3-1 in Friday evening's semifinals match. Sydney Levins and Gianna Mangiamele led the way with 15 kills each. Mangiamele also posted a hitting percentage of .609. Coco Shultz closely followed, finishing the match with 11 kills. Two Diplomats ended with double-digit digs as Meredith Mangum and Shultz racked up 13 each. F&M had a match-high hitting percentage of .538 in the win. Read the recap here.

Johns Hopkins blanked the Diplomats 3-0 in its last matchup in October. Sydney Levins tallied 11 kills in the contest. Liah Perez dished out 14 assists in the contest. Jada West and Coco Shultz each recorded a solo block in the match. Read the recap here.

These two programs squared off in the 2019 CC Championship game, where the Blue Jays came out victorious 3-0. Grace Polisano '19 recorded a team-high nine kills. Johns Hopkins Team Preview

Johns Hopkins is making its sixth-straight appearance in the CC Championship match, where the Blue Jays will go for its sixth-straight CC Championship victory. The Blue Jays held off Gettysburg 3-2 Friday evening to advance through the semifinal round. Simone Adam leads the CC in points (392) and total kills (353). Adam averages 4.04 points per set this season. On the defensive side, Evelyn Batista has 347 digs, averaging 3.65 digs per set this fall.
