Meet Highlights
- Cooper posted a pair of close victories in her individual events. In the 200 free, the sophomore held off McDaniel's Blair Boyle for a 0.42 second win with a time of 2:00.90. Despite being separated by three lanes, Clancy kept pace with Cooper in the 200 breast, but the sophomore managed to out-run the first-year down the stretch for a 1.12 second win with a time of 2:31.49.
- Clancy pocketed an individual win in the 200 fly with a time of 2:15.23. The win marked the first-year flyer's fourth individual victory of the season.
- Moss managed to out-touch senior Katie Idank (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial) by 0.08 to claim the 200 IM. In a similar race to the pair's first duel in the 100 IM against Bryn Mawr, Wednesday's showdown came down to the final leg with Moss's split of 32.43 proving to be enough to beat out the senior with a time of 2:16.81.
- Crilly was edged out in the 50 free by Sara Hegna, younger sister of former Bullet Jakob Hegna '19, by just 0.23 seconds. The senior was part of two winning relays, however, swimming the breaststroke portion of the 200 medley relay (1:55.37) and blazing a path through the water with a split of 24.17 as the anchor of the 200 free relay (1:41.68).
- Freshman Lauren Manning (West Hartford, Conn./Conard) swam a mixed, non-scoring heat of the 1,650 freestyle and managed to overtake McDaniel's lone male swimmer with a time of 18:24.01 to finish second overall.
