• The Short Story: Competing against Division I opponents, the Johns Hopkins women's track & field team finished fourth out of 19 teams at the Towson Invitational as the Blue Jays tallied 62 points. Towson won the meet with 219 points.

Johns Hopkins Winners:
• Maya Hammonds took home first overall in the long jump with a leap of 5.68m.

Veronica Montane won the javelin with a throw of 39.85m.

Arielle Summitt crossed the line in fourth in the steeplechase as the freshman finished with a time of 12:09.85.
• The Blue Jays took home third and fourth in the 1,500-meter run as
Tasha Freed finished third with a time of 4:43.66 while
Samantha Levy finished just behind her in fourth with a time of 4:43.93.
Julianna Lazzari crossed the line in eighth with a time of 4:48.66.
• Hammonds finished in seventh in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.27 while
Alexandra Damron registered a 10
th-place finish in the 400 with a time of 58.65.
• Johns Hopkins took three of the top-10 spots in the 800-meter as
Therese Olshanski finished in third with a time of 2:14.20 followed by
Ariel Keklak in sixth with a time of 2:15.18 and
Erin Brush in ninth with a mark of 2:17.63.
• Montane notched an eighth-place finish in the triple jump with a leap 10.89m while
Annie Gutierrez finished fifth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.25m and
Sophia Cortazzo finished seventh, also with a mark of 3.25m.
• In the discus,
Mikayla Bisignani took home fourth with a throw of 40.98m.

• The Blue Jays will host their lone home meet of the season on Friday, April 12. The meet will begin at 10 am with field events with the track events to being at 11 am.
